Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the Subscription Plan?

The Subscription Plan includes an in-depth initial appointment with all the services listed under the New Patient Visit, followed by five 30-45 minute follow-up visits to be completed within nine months. Between visits, email or phone consultations (up to 20 minutes) are available for ongoing support and guidance. Patients also gain access to group cleanses and workshops, providing additional opportunities for community connection and education. Please note that testing and supplements are not included in the plan and may involve additional costs.

Do you accept insurance?

At Align Natural Medicine, we have made the decision not to accept insurance for our services. This choice is rooted in our commitment to providing the highest quality of care to our patients.

By not accepting insurance, we are able to focus our attention entirely on our patients' health and well-being, rather than on navigating the complexities of insurance billing and restrictions. This also allows for individualized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient's unique needs without interference from third-party payers.

Instead, you may request a Super Bill, which is a special receipt you may submit to your insurance company, and they send you reimbursement. Should you have any questions about our payment policies or need assistance with reimbursement, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team.

What is the difference between a conventional doctor and a naturopathic doctor?

Naturopathic doctors, like allopathic or osteopathic physicians, hold a four-year undergraduate degree as well as an additional four-year doctorate degree. Naturopaths are trained in standard medical curriculum as well as extensive training in clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, naturopathic manipulative therapy, psychology, and counseling. Naturopaths must complete at least two years of hands-on clinical training and pass two sets rigorous of national board exams to become certified. Naturopathic doctors are trained to diagnose and treat disease or refer to specialists when necessary.

What if I need to cancel my visit?

If for any reason you need to cancel your appointment, please call or email the clinic within 24 hours of your appointment time. For any missed appointments or less than 24-hour notice for cancellation your account will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

For established patients, you can adjust your appointments at any time by logging into your practice portal. Reschedule as needed, and we will receive an email confirmation of your rescheduled appointment.

If you are late for your appointment, your visit may be shortened.
